Amazon Catalog Services builds the systems that host and run the world’s largest e-Commerce catalog. Within this organization, Product Knowledge (PK) is responsible for mining, modeling, storing and vending the product catalog metadata. This metadata (schema) governs all the possible product information and powers Amazon end-to-end processes, starting on how we organize products, how we define all possible product attributes, how we guide selling partners when listing them, all the way to power customer shopping experiences (e.g., product overview in detail pages, browse taxonomy, search and navigation filters).
