Bridget Killen with Robert Half is partnering with a well-known manufacturing company in the Albany area to identify a Senior Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with a strong manufacturing background and expertise in general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts

+ Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

+ Perform cost accounting functions, including inventory analysis, standard cost review, and variance analysis

+ Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and reconciliations

+ Handle payroll accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting

+ Prepare account analyses and supporting schedules for financial reporting
