Position Overview
We are seeking a **_Sr. Research Project Coordinator II_** who will complete a range of tasks in support of the PIRL lab in the Department of Sociology. The lab conducts collaborative, interdisciplinary, mixed-methods research to inform policy related to poverty, housing, education, and families. We develop research projects that advance evidence to increase social mobility and decrease inequality by race and income. In particular, our work prioritizes the often-unheard voices of families, children and youth living in the βOther Americaβ and considers their experiences to be expert knowledge that advances our research to improve policy and practice. Work is done using multiple social scientific methods, often in conjunction, including qualitative data collection and analysis via semi-structured interviews, structural micro-econometric modeling and estimation, and statistical analysis of large-scale administrative data, among other approaches.
