**PURPOSE AND SCOPE:**

Maintains a clean and orderly working area in production departments/rooms, meeting GMP standards. Performs a broad range of process preparation tasks.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ In production departments/rooms and under limited supervision, responsible for cleaning machines, conveyors, walls, floors, light fixtures, vents, windows, etc., according to GMP and FDA standards.
+ Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues and/or in making recommendations.
+ Acts as a subject matter expert.
+ Normally receives no instruction on routine daily work, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
+ Empties garbage in production areas, as needed.
+ Completes housekeeping logs for area of responsibility.
+ Advises supervisor of needed supplies and shortages.
+ Advises supervisor of maintenance items needing attention.
