Lead and manage proactive media relations in collaboration with the PR agency
Research, write, and review news releases, media alerts, case studies, infographics, fact sheets, white papers, etc. and disseminate them through appropriate channels
Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and influential professionals. Track and influence media coverage. Pitch story ideas and serve as the primary representative for the company as the liaison with the media contacts
Crisis Management - Manage sensitive issues to maintain company's good reputation
Identify, organize, and manage speaking, awards, and media opportunities
Collaborate with other marketing functions to monitor social media activity, ensure we offer an appropriate response; make recommendations on how to effectively engage influencers through replies, retweets, likes and favorites
