Sr. Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
The Sr. Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists by performing advanced technical functions and assisting with professional services to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery to patients, staff, and physicians. Working under the direct supervision of the pharmacist on duty, this role focuses heavily on sterile and non-sterile compounding, medication order processing, inventory control, and mentoring other technicians while maintaining strict compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Responsibilities

+ Prepare parenteral products, including IV solutions, IV piggybacks (IVPBs), and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) solutions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

+ Maintain compliance with USP 797, USP 800, and USP 795 requirements through completion of ongoing competencies, accurate compounding documentation, and adherence to aseptic technique.
