The UPMC Center for Emergency Medicine is looking to hire a Full-Time Sr. EMT.

Schedule:

+ 12-hour shifts
+ Day/night rotations
+ Weekends and holidays required

Purpose:

Under limited supervision, the Sr. EMT ensures safe and healthy environment for patients and employees by providing competent health and medical services in a prehospital setting. The Sr. EMT will work as part of the team to care for critically ill and injured patients and will follow PA DOH BLS, ALS and CCG guidelines. The Sr. EMT is expected to execute independent judgment, to deliver appropriate care that is consistent with the clinical protocols, when contact with a medical command physician is not possible. The Sr. EMT fulfills education and experiential requirements as established by the Medical Director, and performs other duties as assigned.
