JOB SUMMARY
Establish and promote the maintenance of a safe, accident-free, healthy work environment that is compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures and employee communications regarding safety guidelines. Train employees in safe workplace practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ยท Develops and implements general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company personnel in compliance with local, state, regional, and national safety and health rules and regulations.
ยท Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and safety programs.
ยท Lays out manufacturing workspace to optimize safe working environment.
