Purpose:
Under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer, this position will be responsible for coordinating comments to proposed changes in billing and reimbursement regulations with experts from operations, revenue cycle, insurance and compliance. The role will also be responsible for conducting regulatory research and analysis for overarching regulations that affect UPMC. This position will require strong regulatory and interpretation experience coupled with support of an efficient comment and review process. The position ensures management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of all regulatory bodies, company policies and procedures, and also ensures behavior in the organization meets the company's Code of Conduct.
