Position Overview
A Day in Your Life at MKS As a Senior Buyer at MKS, you will partner with Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Quality, Commodity teams to purchase material at the best cost, on time, with the best quality (ex. develop, support, execute, purchase, contribute, etc.). In this role, you will report to the Procurement Supervisor.
You Will Make an Impact By - Plan, schedule and monitor material movement through the production cycle. Evaluate vendor reliability and develop solutions in case of material shortages.
- Monitor cost and consolidate contracts where required to create cost-effective purchasing models.
- Develop new supply sources where required to keep operations stocked and able to generate the desired output.
- Actively maintain inventory and collaborate with operations to ensure appropriate stock.
- Follow and achieve KPIs.
