Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support a growing organization in Worcester, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the close process, and preparing reliable reporting for business stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong general ledger experience, sound judgment, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly close activities by preparing entries, reviewing account activity, and helping ensure timely completion of reporting deadlines.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through accurate posting, analysis, and follow-up on unusual balances or discrepancies.
• Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve outstanding items with appropriate documentation.
