Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join a growing organization in Sparks, Maryland on a Contract basis. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, solid reporting skills, and the ability to explain financial information clearly to colleagues across the organization.


Core Responsibilities

+ Analyze financial results and performance trends through the development of key performance indicators (KPIs), with comparisons to market and industry benchmarks.

+ Prepare and maintain a variety of financial models, customized reports, and other ad hoc analyses to support business needs and decision-making.

+ Complete monthly journal entries along with all necessary backup documentation, while also reviewing related schedules for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
