Iteris is seeking a Sr. Accountant to be an integral part of the accounting team. Reporting to the Supervisor of General Accounting, this role will mainly focus on payroll and inventory and be responsible for the day-to-day operations and month-end close process. This includes journal entries, general account reconciliations, flux analysis, and accruals.



What you will be doing:




+ Record and reconcile all payroll related journal entries, including biweekly payrolls, PTO activity, bonus accruals, and other payroll adjustments

+ Own the inventory month-end close processes, including recording cost & receipt accounting entries, inventory reserves, product return allowances, PPV capitalization, and other related inventory tasks

+ Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, accruals, expense allocations and account reconciliations
