Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support key accounting operations for a Contract position based in Portland, Oregon. This role will play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing close activities, and ensuring balance sheet integrity. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on accounting experience, sound judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly close activities by preparing schedules, reviewing account activity, and helping ensure deadlines are met accurately.
• Record and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and alignment to accounting standards.
• Maintain the general ledger by monitoring transactions, researching discrepancies, and resolving posting issues promptly.
