Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a team in Morris, Illinois on a Contract basis. This position supports core accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll activities, and compliance requirements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to manage month-end processes accurately while working across multiple financial functions.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily and monthly accounting activities while maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
• Review invoices for proper coding, timing, and approval before payment processing, and record necessary journal entries in QuickBooks.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, general ledger accounts, and debt schedules to ensure complete and accurate reporting.
