The Job:
A hands on grounds maintenance role responsible for maintaining and preparing high quality sports turf and playing surfaces across a multi site school estate. Working within the Estates team and reporting to the Sports Turf Manager, the postholder will ensure all pitches and facilities are safe, well presented and suitable for a wide range of sporting and school activities throughout the year.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and prepare sports pitches and turf areas across the school estate to a consistently high standard for rugby, football, cricket, athletics and other activities
- Carry out routine and seasonal grounds maintenance including mowing, aeration, fertilising, irrigation, weed control, turf repairs and pitch marking
