Position Overview
Job Summary: Seeking a passionate "hunter" for business development targeting D1, D2, and D3 universities and professional sports teams. You will drive high-volume cold calls from an existing list, develop proposals, and engage VP/Director-level customers. Position is 100% onsite and local to the SVP's area. Salary starts at $55,000/year with conversion to commission after 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive proposals for prospective customers, typically valued at $50K–$300K.
- Create marketing and social media communications targeting colleges and universities.
- Interact with existing customers, including catalog distribution accounts, dealers, franchises, and digital print clients.
- Travel nationwide as approved by VP Sales to visit potential customers, confirm venue measurements, and conduct cold calls in surrounding areas (limited; 1–2 days per trip).
