Job description
Sports Coach – PRU
Location: Burnley

Pay: £95-£105 per day, depending on experience

Start Date: 09/03/2026

Are you a calm and resilient individual with a passion for sports? We are currently working with a pupil referral unit to recruit for experienced sports coaches, starting as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for sports coaches to use this experience within a school setting, encouraging students to re-engage in learning.

The Role:
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, using passion for sports to encourage re-engagement

Co-ordinating fun and engaging activities for pupils

Collaborating with teachers and parents to monitor progress
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
