Role Overview

The Sponsored Reserve Firefighter is a unique role that combines civilian firefighting with military purpose. You will support Defence operations within the UK and overseas, working alongside RAF teams and specialist equipment. The role offers a structured pattern of 4 months overseas followed by 16 months in the UK, providing variety, purpose, and the opportunity to build a long‑term career.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, or dual‑national citizenship.
• Residency in the UK for at least five years (three years may be considered in some cases).
• Full UK driving licence.
