Spiritual Counselor

Roze Room is a leading provider of Hospice and Palliative Care, celebrating 25 years of service to Southern California communities.

The Spiritual Counselor, in cooperation with the interdisciplinary team, provides counseling and crises intervention in order to adequately address the spiritual and psychosocial needs of hospice patients and their families. The Spiritual Counselor provides assessments, participates in development and implementation of the established care plan. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to utilize computers and be comfortable with electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in hospital or pastoral ministry. Masters of Divinity preferred.
• Experience working with patients and families dealing with life threatening illnesses and death.
