Role and Responsibilities


Direct, supervise, evaluate and provide speech therapy services to patients in the home , as prescribed by the attending physician.





Essential Functions


+ Evaluate the patient’s speech, language and voice, and swallowing abilities according to referral and perform periodic reevaluation.

+ Develop and implement rehabilitative services for speech, language and voice, and swallowing disorders.

+ Select and administer diagnostic tests and provide appropriate therapeutic techniques and materials.

+ Record the type of treatment and patient’s reaction to it on the clinical/progress notes.

+ Maintain adequate records on all of the patients, including summary reports.
