Scope of Work
Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
+ Masterβs Degree, Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), ASHA.
+ Experience in adult/children neurological speech and language disorders, evaluation and treatment, including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, laryngectomy, stuttering, and voice disorders.
+ Experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, TBI, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies.
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence, America Speech-Language-Hearing Association, (required) or
+ Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
+ Licensure in Speech Pathology-Michigan (required) or temporary license during the CFY (required)
