JOB CHARACTERISTICS: It is the responsibility of the Speech Language Pathologist to provide complete identification and remediation of students with speech and/or language disorders between the ages of K-12.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Assess and describe the communicative behavior of the child/student, relating that behavior to what is known as normal development.
- Coordinate and integrate test results with parents, school staff and/or other professionals.
- Schedule and conduct eligibility and IFSP/IEP (Individual Family Service Plan/Individual Education Plan) meetings with parents and staff.
