To lead, develop, coordinate and represent speech and language therapy services for adults with acquired communication and swallowing needs across NHS Lanarkshire in line with the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service Objectives and Local and National Policy and targets.
To work collaboratively as a member of the SLT Senior Leadership team, which also includes CYP and ALD Service Managers and Professional Lead, to agree priorities and ensure consistency and quality across the SLT service.
To be accountable for delivering a quality service and meeting SLT service targets and objectives for the SLT Adult Acquired Service.
To be responsible for the delivery of advice, support, clinical supervision, training, updated evidence-based information and second-line assessment within Adult services.
Line management responsibility for site co-ordinators of three teams which include acute and community services.
