DAY SHIFT

As needed, no set hours. Position requires 2 weekend shifts per month and one major holiday per year.

Under the direction of the Manager/Director of the Rehabilitation Services Department, the speech – language pathologist is responsible for providing, arranging for, teaching and supervising speech – language pathology services through the process of assessment, planning and implementation. He/she provides advisory service to other professionals who share responsibility for patient care and participates in the development of the rehabilitation program.



Responsibilities:


+ EVALUATION AND TREATMENT – Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation and treatment of speech and swallowing according to approved practices, policies, and procedures of the Rehab Department of Ellis Hospital and New York State law.
