We are seeking a passionate specialist teacher to join our team at Te Kura Waenga o Motutawa | Avalon Intermediate School. This is a 0.4 FTTE fixed-term role for the remainder of the 2026 school year.

This is a special project focused on supporting the transition into college for a large, wonderful cohort of our ORS-funded ākonga. If you have a heart for mentoring vulnerable tamariki and ensuring they are set up to thrive in their next educational chapter, this role is for you. You will work in close partnership with our deputy principal / SENCo and collaborate daily with a dedicated, hardworking team of teacher aides.
