This role is flexible to be based out of Saskatoon or the Jansen Mine site. This position will require weekly travel to the Jansen Mine Site (if based out of Saskatoon). For those not living locally, BHP provides relocation assistance to the local Jansen area. Alternatively, you can enjoy the convenience and comfort of our onsite camp accommodation at Discovery Lodge during your shifts.
Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Planning, the Specialist Mine Planning builds mine production plans and schedules, contributing to design and coordinating infield execution, to deliver productivity targets in tactical time horizons for an underground potash mine site. Focus in the 2‑week time horizon, including driving operational readiness of systems and processes, and optimisation of mine plans to support decision making for mine progression.
