Position Overview
The Specialist Medical Oncologist is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with cancer. The role involves delivering evidence-based oncology care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and supportive care, while working closely with a multidisciplinary cancer team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties - Diagnose and evaluate patients with solid tumors and selected hematological malignancies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
- Prescribe and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal treatments.
- Monitor treatment response, toxicity, and disease progression, modifying treatment plans as required.
