Delta Air Lines is seeking a Specialist to assist with accounting and the
monthly close process. The successful candidate will:

+ Have a working knowledge of GAAP and how it is applied to accountingprocesses
+ Understand control processes, work directly with internal andexternal auditors to provide requested information and support, and be ableto assist with and perform annual risk assessments
+ Prepare accounting entries through the use of source information,data models, research in financial systems or other data
+ Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, general ledgerresearch, and variance analysis
+ Review and document controls and accounting processes, while seekingout opportunities to automate, increase efficiency, and streamline existingprocesses
+ Review and summarize accounting implications of documents includingcontracts, leases, and other legal documents
