Specialist Audiologist

County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest integrated care providers in England, serving a population of around 600,000 people. This position offers a nominal base at the University Hospital of North Durham, with the post holder expected to cover community and hospital sites across County Durham and Darlington.

With a multidisciplinary team of 20 staff in the Trust-wide Audiology Department, we provide a comprehensive diagnostic assessment and rehabilitation service for adults and paediatrics, including ENT support, hearing therapy, tinnitus management, vestibular assessment and rehabilitation, bone conduction hearing instruments, NHS diagnostic assessment, paediatric rehabilitation, adult direct referral clinics, community paediatric assessment clinics, and are an Any Qualified Provider for the direct access of hearing aids service.
