Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Sous Chef at MMI Dining in the Jackson, MS area for one of our educational accounts. In this role you will be the lead culinarian on campus for our dining programs. You will head-up menu development and meal preparation, plan and oversee catered events, train and supervise staff, budgeting and food costing, and ensuring client and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities will be for preparing meals by reviewing menus and product specifications with the executive chef; evaluating menu production; overseeing portion size; evaluating and improving productivity; providing food preparation personal expertise; monitoring presentations; analyzing food production records and menu expenses; standardizing production recipes; promoting kitchen staff interest in quality improvement; supervising staff in the absence of the Restaurant ChefΒ you have a culinary degree (or equivalent work experience) and Servsafe Certified, please apply today.Β
