Responsibilities:
The Sous Chef is the second-in-command in the kitchen and is generally responsible for food production. The Sous Chef assumes all the duties of the Room Chef in the chefβs absence. Responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
