Position Overview
Sous Chef for a 250 seat restaurant in the Bahamas.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the preparation and design of all food menus
- Produce high-quality dishes in collaboration with the rest of the kitchen team
- Monitor food and labor costs
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during busy hours
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Monitor the quality of food products used for cooking
- Implement innovative recipes and presentation techniques
- Assist in the preparation of meals as required
Qualifications
- 90% English
- 3 years experience as Sous Chef or Executive Chef
- Willing to relocate to the Bahamas
