About the Role

Workday is looking for an experienced Global Sourcing Manager to join our Global Procurement Office team in Tokyo, to support our procurement activities across Japan and other international locations. This role will be responsible for aligning sourcing category strategies with business and company requirements to maximize value and partner with business stakeholders. This includes executing the end-to-end Sourcing process of creating and managing category strategies, spend and market analysis, running multiple RFx, negotiating contracts and pricing, and supplier management. He/she should have deep sourcing and vendor management experience across multiple categories, be able to operate at all levels of the organization and move seamlessly between tactical and strategic tasks.
