Responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Obtain and analyze patient medical histories and relevant information to tailor ultrasound procedures to individual needs.
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies to capture detailed images of organs, tissues and blood flow ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program is essential.
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is required.
