Job Description

Responsible to independently or under the supervision of senior sonographer perform all sonography imagery procedures, analyze output and report to supervisor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Managerial: Maintain sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for performance of duties.
• Report shortage of materials to supervisor at earliest convenience, maintain records for ordering and replenishments.
• Perform all Ultrasound imagery procedures in accordance with department policies, procedures and protocols. Apply detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology to produce images of high diagnostic quality.
• Perform other related radiography (special) procedures as required.
• Evaluate and assess Ultrasound images produced for acceptable quality, appropriateness and completeness, advise other staff when required and forward images to Radiologist for review and reporting.
