Provides technical support for all authorized academic software residing on the Dean of Faculty IT systems at the client site.
Reports to the Faculty Information Technology (FIT) office Project Manager/Team Lead.
Works independently or with a team.
Maintains documentation on Faculty IT processes for software (desktop/web-based) procurements and utilization.
Ensures academic software is current and updated as new versions/patches become available.
Makes software and associated purchasing information accessible to Cybersecurity personnel as required for testing/evaluation/approval.
Provides recommendations for software procurements/acquisitions as required to the CRO for review and coordination; to include market research, salient characteristics, statements of need, and single source justification (as required).
