About the role

We are looking for a Permanent, full‑time Social Worker to support the Westgate, Auckland, Care & Protection team. The role is based at the Westgate site and focuses on a whānau‑led approach to service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Westgate, Auckland, Care & Protection team to assess and support children, rangatahi and whānau.
• Develop and implement care plans in line with evidence‑based, strength‑based practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
• Provide culturally appropriate support, recognising tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples’ culture.

What you will bring (Qualifications)

• Registration with New Zealand’s Social Work Registration Board (SWRB) and a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Social worker qualification recognised by the SWRB.
• NZ work eligibility.
