About the Role

Staffordshire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Child Protection Team.

You will work with children and families where safeguarding concerns have been identified, ensuring timely and effective interventions to protect children and improve outcomes.

This is a rewarding frontline role where you will manage complex cases, undertake direct work with families, and collaborate with partner agencies to achieve positive and lasting change.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake Section 47 enquiries and Child and Family Assessments.

Manage a caseload of Child Protection and Child in Need cases.

Develop and implement robust safety and care plans.

Undertake Public Law Outline (PLO) work and court proceedings where required.
