Anchor Community Care works with children, young people, families and individuals in Melbourne’s outer east. For more than 40 years, we have supported thousands of people within our community to get back on track and help them to thrive.

Position summary

Home Based Care (Kinship Care) provides a safe, supportive home to children and young people residing in the care of their broader family unit or personal network because they are unable live with their biological parent(s) due to concerns for their safety and wellbeing. We seek to ensure the provision of high-quality services that will bring about significant improvements in the life experience of children, young people and families/ caregivers.
