Job Title: Social Worker – Duty and Assessment

Pay Rate: £40 per hour

Experienced and dedicated Children’s Social Workers is required for our client’s Duty and Assessment team, based in Lancashire.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will:
Receive and screen referrals from professionals, families, or the public.Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.Liaise with police, schools, health services, and other agencies to gather information.Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for further action.Escalate cases to child protection teams when nece...
