POSITION TITLE: Social Worker

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Social Workers
Principal of assigned school

QUALIFICATIONS:


+ Master’s Degree (M.S.W.) in Social Work and appropriate licensure as required by the IDOE.

+ Candidate must have competencies in social work theory, social work methods, group dynamics, community organization, psychology and family counseling.

+ Social worker must have ability to work well with students and adults.

+ Candidate must have three years prior social work experience with schools, private or public agency.

+ Duties may include evening and weekend work on occasion.
