Reporting to the Communications Manager, this hands‑on, mobile‑first role is responsible for capturing, creating and publishing engaging digital content across our social media platforms. You will be active within the organisation and the community, capturing real‑time kaupapa, events, pānui and whānau stories that reflect the voice, values and identity of Whakatōhea.
This role supports the delivery of the communications and marketing calendar, contributes to campaigns and key initiatives, and helps build strong, positive engagement with whānau, hapū and iwi through consistent, high‑quality digital storytelling.
Create engaging short‑form digital content including reels, video, photography, posts and stories for social media platforms.
Capture kaupapa, events, announcements and whānau stories in a way that reflects tikanga, authenticity and iwi voice.
