Our client in the construction/ communication sector is seeking a highly efficient senior Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions, and supporting financial control across multiple projects and operational cost centers. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment, and effective communication with stakeholders across operational, technical, and executive levels. Reporting directly to the Financial Director (FD).
Qualifications & Experience Senior Certificate (NQF 4). Certificate in bookkeeping or accounting is essential. A relevant financial qualification will be advantageous. Proven experience working with Pastel and/or Xeroaccounting systems. Experience working with multiple currenciesand foreign exchange (Forex)transactions. Bookkeeping experience up to trial balance.
