We are looking for a team member to work with a child one on one, starting at four hours a day, but could potentially move up to eight hours in the future. Currently we are working on language and communication skills, as well as social/emotional skills with a child who would benefit from an autism assistant one on one. The child will be graduating from our Prek class by next year, giving us time to best support them before their next journey into school. We would ask that the applicant be confident in their ability to communicate with the child, the Autism Specialist they will also be working with, and the family of the child, as well as the rest of the centre's team members. Applicant must be patient in their work with the child, as well as gentle, nuturing, and respectful.
