SMELTER

Our client, a blue chip company based in the Vaal Triangle has a vacancy for a Smelter with the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or N3.

• Experience operating industrial machinery or furnaces.

• Experience with specific smelting processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in operating smelting equipment

• Operate and monitor smelting equipment to process raw materials into finished metal products

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a smelting environment

• Ability to monitor and adjust smelting process variables to maintain product quality

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials

• Basic understanding of chemical reactions and their effect on smelting process

• Willingness to work in a shift-based environment

• Ability to troubleshoot for minor repairs on equipment
