About The Role

As a Small Plant Operator, you will be responsible for weed eating, trimming and sometimes mowing parks, reserves and sports fields throughout Rodney, West Auckland region on a full‑time basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate various small plant equipment to keep public spaces in top condition.
• Perform weed eating, edging and push mowing to achieve a polished finish in detailed areas.
• Carry out basic maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability.
• Maintain fields, parks and reserves to a high standard, exceeding client expectations.

Who We're Looking For

• Full Class 1 and 2 licence and confident driving of manual vehicles.
• Previous experience with small plant equipment and ride‑on mowers.
• Passionate about the outdoors and take genuine pride in work.
• Confident using technology for pre‑starts, timesheets, investigations etc.
