Position Title Skilled Trades- Boiler Tender

FLSA Non-Exempt

Primary Responsibilities
Operate high/medium/low pressure boilers. Maintain and operate all equipment in the heating plant as directed. Install, maintain, adjust, modify and perform major overhaul and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems by interpreting blueprints, manufacturer specifications, written and verbal instructions. Apply thorough knowledge of one or more of the accepted trades with a basic knowledge of three others. Applicable trades include carpenter, painter, electrician, plumber, fleet mechanic, boiler tender, HVAC Technician. Apply skill in the use of tools and equipment and be responsible for tools, materials, and devices to perform tasks according to accepted practices. Perform related duties as required to accomplish tasks.
