Position Overview
The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is the L1 SSHO as key personnel, a full-time employee who through education, experience and training has the technical knowledge and skills needed to anticipate, recognize, and evaluate hazardous conditions and recommend corrective action/s and ensure corrections is/made in a timely manner, and in compliance with OSHA, NFPA Standards, USACE, State and Local laws.
The SSHO is responsible for:
- Implementing and evaluating our safety and health program the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) to assure all associates and subcontractors are to work on an environment that is free from any recognized hazards.
- Responsible for obtaining all documents of incident/injuries investigation and reporting to our corporate office in a timely manner.
