Position Overview
Patcham High School is seeking a Premises Manager to lead our site team.
Role details: Full‑time; 37 hours per week on a shift rota for 52 weeks. Salary on the LGA Pay Scale SO1/2, scale 23‑28: £34,434‑£39,152 per annum (pay award pending). Occasional overtime may be required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the school site, vehicles, three caretakers and cleaning team to complete all maintenance tasks and compliance checks, ensuring a safe, clean, and well‑maintained site at all times.
- Lead the transition from a PFI‑set up to a self‑managed school over 22 months, working closely with the PFI company, senior leadership team and local authority to establish new processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- In‑depth understanding of all areas of health and safety and associated regulations.
- Clean driving licence.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Good computer skills.
